Description:
Laureola sp. “Lemon Spiky” is an extremely rare and highly sought-after isopod known for its bright lemon-yellow coloration combined with a heavily spiky, armored body structure. This contrast of vivid colour and sharp morphology gives it a very “premium exotic” appearance, making it a top-tier collector species.
This species stays small to medium in size and is highly demanding in captivity. It requires very stable humidity, precise ventilation balance, and a mature bioactive setup to survive long-term. It is extremely sensitive during acclimation and does not tolerate unstable or fluctuating conditions.
Once established, it becomes a flagship-level display species, valued for its rarity, intense coloration, and unique spiky morphology, placing it among the highest-end isopods in the hobby.
