Description:
Porcellionides pruinosus “Red Koi” is a color mutation line derived from the Powder Mix group, known for its red-toned and patterned appearance. It typically shows a mix of soft red, orange, and lighter contrasting patches, giving it a “koi-like” decorative pattern similar to ornamental fish.
This species grows to a small to medium size and is very hardy, making it easy to maintain even for beginners. It prefers a well-ventilated setup with a clear dry-to-moist gradient and adapts quickly to a wide range of conditions.
Once established, it becomes a fast breeder and reliable cleanup crew species, valued for its unique red koi-style coloration within the powder isopod line.
