Description:

Black Coco Shrimp are an attractive variety of freshwater ornamental shrimp, admired for their deep, dark coloration that can range from rich brown to nearly black. Their elegant appearance creates a striking contrast against green aquatic plants and light-colored substrates, making them a distinctive addition to planted aquariums.

These peaceful shrimp are active scavengers that feed on algae, biofilm, and leftover food. They thrive in stable water conditions and benefit from a well-established aquarium with aquatic plants and plenty of hiding spots. With proper care, they can breed in captivity and establish a thriving colony. Their dark, sophisticated coloration makes them an appealing choice for shrimp enthusiasts looking to diversify their freshwater shrimp collections.
