Cubaris sp. “Black Lip Ducky” is a dark color form within the rubber ducky-type Cubaris group, known for its distinctive darker facial/lip area combined with the classic “duck face” shape. Compared to standard Rubber Ducky, this form has a deeper, more intense contrast, giving it a stronger and more dramatic appearance.

This species stays small to medium in size and is moderately easy to maintain under stable conditions. It prefers balanced humidity with good airflow and a well-established bioactive setup to ensure healthy growth and consistent breeding.

Once established, it becomes a reliable mid-tier Cubaris variant, valued for its unique dark morph expression and contrast within the ducky family.
