Description:
Porcellio sevilla “Caramel” is a rare and attractive mutation of Porcellio sevilla, known for its warm caramel to golden-brown coloration. This mutation gives the species a softer, richer tone compared to the normal wild form, creating a smooth “toffee-like” appearance that is highly valued in the hobby.
This species grows to a medium size and is moderately easy to maintain under stable conditions. It prefers a well-ventilated setup with a clear dry-to-moist gradient, where the dry side is more dominant. Good airflow is important to prevent excess humidity stress.
Once established, it becomes a steady breeder and a strong display species, valued for its mutation-based coloration, clean structure, and high-end appeal among Porcellio collectors.
