Description:
Porcellio laevis “White” is a clean and visually striking color morph of the well-known P. laevis, admired for its bright white to creamy body coloration. Its smooth, glossy appearance makes it stand out strongly in any bioactive setup, especially against darker substrates and leaf litter.
This species grows to a medium to large size and is extremely hardy, making it one of the best beginner-friendly isopods in the hobby. It adapts easily to a wide range of conditions, but thrives best in a stable environment with moderate humidity and good ventilation.
Once established, it reproduces very quickly and forms large colonies, making it an excellent low-end starter species for both display and bioactive clean-up use.
