Description:
Cubaris sp. “Black Panda” is a striking Cubaris species often compared to “Blue Penguin” due to its similar compact body shape and overall structure. However, instead of bluish tones, this species displays a deep black to dark grey body coloration, giving it a more intense and shadowed appearance.
This species stays small to medium in size and is moderately easy to maintain under stable conditions. It prefers balanced humidity with good airflow and a well-established bioactive setup to ensure healthy development and breeding success.
Once established, it becomes a reliable mid-tier Cubaris species, valued for its clean contrast pattern and darker, more dramatic coloration compared to similar “penguin-type” morphs.
