Description:
Cubaris sp. “Mandarin” is one of the most beginner-friendly and commonly kept Cubaris species in the hobby, well known for its bright orange to tangerine coloration. Its vivid, warm tone makes it stand out visually while still being very hardy and easy to maintain compared to most other Cubaris species.
This species stays small to medium in size and adapts well to a wide range of conditions. It performs best in a stable setup with moderate humidity, good ventilation, and a clear moisture gradient to prevent excess moisture stress.
Once established, it breeds quickly and forms large colonies, making it an excellent low-end Cubaris for beginners, bioactive setups, and cleanup crews.
