Description:
Porcellionides pruinosus “Powder Mix” is a mixed color line of the well-known “powder” isopods, typically combining Powder Orange, Powder Blue, and Powder White genetics. This results in a colony with multiple color variations appearing together in the same setup.
This species grows to a small to medium size and is extremely hardy, making it one of the easiest isopods to keep in the hobby. It prefers a well-ventilated enclosure with a clear dry-to-moist gradient and is highly adaptable to a wide range of conditions.
Once established, it becomes a very fast breeder and one of the most efficient cleanup crew species, making it ideal for beginners, bioactive setups, and mixed-color display colonies.
