Description:
Cubaris sp. “Cappuccino” is one of the most famous and commonly kept Cubaris species in the hobby, especially popular among beginners who want to start exploring higher-end Cubaris isopods. It is well known for its warm coffee-like coloration, often displaying creamy brown, caramel, and darker earthy tones that resemble the layered appearance of a cappuccino drink.
This species stays small to medium in size and is considered moderately easy to maintain compared to many other Cubaris species. It prefers balanced humidity with proper ventilation and a stable bioactive setup to support healthy growth and successful molting.
Once established, it becomes a reliable breeder and an excellent display species, making it one of the best “starter” Cubaris for hobbyists entering the premium isopod category.
